Perspectivum commissions and publishes peer-reviewed animation briefs that document the biological mechanisms underlying registered clinical trials. We work directly with principal investigators, biostatisticians, and medical illustrators to produce animations that are scientifically accurate, citation-ready, and freely accessible.
Each brief undergoes a two-stage review: first by a domain expert unfamiliar with the trial, then by the trial team itself. Simplifications are logged in a supplementary accuracy statement published alongside every animation.
Perspectivum operates under an open-access model. All animations are freely viewable and citable under CC BY 4.0.
Clinical trial animations necessarily compress complex biology into observable timescales. Every brief includes a supplementary accuracy statement detailing scale compressions, omitted intermediates, and any departures from the primary trial data. We do not use artistic licence as a substitute for scientific precision.
